SUNCE * Association for Nature, Environment and Sustainable Development

Association SUNCE was founded in 1998 in Split, Croatia. Today it is the biggest environmental association in the Dalmatia region. Main beneficiaries of Sunce activities are citizens of Split and of the Dalmatian coast and islands. Through partnerships with other organizations and institutions, Sunce is also active on national and international level.

Main goals of the Association are:

- Conservation of nature and protection of environment as basic society values

- Management of natural resources through implementation of sustainable development

Split-Dalmatia County Waste Management Plan

On the last Split-Dalmatia County Assembly meeting (14 February 2008) County Waste Management Plan was adopted. The Plan was developed without possibility for public participation in the procedure.
