SUNCE * Association for Nature, Environment and Sustainable Development

Association SUNCE was founded in 1998 in Split, Croatia. Today it is the biggest environmental association in the Dalmatia region. Main beneficiaries of Sunce activities are citizens of Split and of the Dalmatian coast and islands. Through partnerships with other organizations and institutions, Sunce is also active on national and international level.

Main goals of the Association are:

- Conservation of nature and protection of environment as basic society values

- Management of natural resources through implementation of sustainable development

Clean production; workshop in Porec
Within the project CP3-PHARE 2006 – Cleaner Production Promotion Programme for the hospitality industry a preparatory course for NGO's participants was held in Porec from 27-29 April, 2009.

The partners on the project are Centric Austria International (CAI) from Vienna, Austria in cooperation with University of Rijeka – Cleaner Production Centre, The Foundation of University of Rijeka and NGO's from Croatia oriented to environmental protection and sustainable development.
