Exhibition "Hvar from the depths" constitute a multiple award-winning author photos underwater photographer Antony Rossettija and educational panels on the sea as well as the need to preserve the Union of the Adriatic Sea.

Knowledge and monitoring of the benthic community in Croatia is still far from that in other Mediterranean countries. One reason is a very small number of biologists, divers who have knowledge and skills in diving, marine biology and underwater research techniques. Nature Park „Lastovo Islands“ – Marine habitats and species mapping

For several years Association Sunce has been mapping marine species and habitats in the Nature Park Lastovo Islands. This area is characterized by exceptional complexity of the underwater landscape, and thus the diversity of habitats and species richness. Hence, our goal of making the map of habitat for all of us has been and remains a major challenge.

Marking International Year of Biodiversity 2010, supported by the COAST project, United Nations Development Programme in Republic of Croatia (UNDP COAST) aims to increase public awareness about the importance and role of biological diversity.

The United Nations proclaimed 2010 to be the International Year of Biodiversity with the theme "Biodiversity for Development." The international community has not managed to achieve the goals set by the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) to reduce the loss of biodiversity by 2010. , and all indicators show an increase in pressures that affect life on Earth.
