    :. Training seminar „Croatia MPA Management Planning“ was held

Training seminar on the topic „Croatia MPA Management Planning“ was held from the 07th till the 14th of December 2009 in Pension „Villa Segetski dvori“, Seget Donji, Croatia. Training was organized by the Association Sunce and led by Jason Philibotte and Tom Fish from NOAA-National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, USA.

The seminar was attended by 20 participants, representatives of the NP Brijuni, NP Telašćica, NP Kornati, NP Lastovo Islands, NP Mljet, Public institution for the management of protected areas of Dubrovnik-Neretva, Šibenik-Knin, Zadar County, UNDP, State Institute for Nature Protection, Ministry of Culture and the Association Sunce.

During the seminar, participants had the opportunity to learn about different phases of marine protected areas management plan development and acquired new knowledge and skills. Seminar trainers held several professional presentations on the topic of management plan and the planning phases and participants filled twenty working task through which they gained knowledge and developed their skills.

In addition to quality training facilities and content, organizer and owner of the Pension "Villa Segetski dvori" provided active training break by organized hiking to the mountain lodge "Putalj" on mountain of Kozjak.
